Artist Takes Every Drug Known to Man, Draws Self Portraits After Each Use
This is all sorts of cool, and everything your mother told you not to do. Bryan Lewis Saunders is definitely an artist from Washington D.C., not only any artist though. Saunders would rather require a more unconventional way of his artwork.
Arguably his best project, entitled DRUGS is called follows:
“After experiencing drastic alterations in my environment, I sought out other experiences that may profoundly affect my perception of the self. So I devised another experiment where everyday I took another drug and drew myself drunk. Within weeks I came to be lethargic and suffered mild brain damage. I am still conducting this experiment but over greater lapses of time. I usually drugs that are delivered to me.”
Below, you can see an accumulation of portraits Saunders drew while intoxicated by various substances which range from cocaine, to marijuana, to DMT. Each portrait is surely an astonishing look into the mind of somebody tweaked on drugs, a thing that your eyes will really appreciate.
